WHO WE ARE

My Objectives

At the heart of my philosophy of teaching and learning is the belief that education is about more than just acquiring knowledge and skills. It is about fostering a love of learning and a sense of wonder in young students and empowering them to become active and engaged learners throughout their lives.

To achieve this, I believe in creating a learning environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative. I strive to create a classroom culture where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and make mistakes, knowing that these are all important parts of the learning process.

Overall, my goal as an English teacher is to create a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive, where students feel empowered to take ownership of their own learning, and where creativity and critical analysis are valued as essential components of language acquisition. By making learning fun, engaging, and relevant to students' lives and interests, I hope to inspire a love of English that will stay with them for years to come.

I also believe in the importance of making connections between different subject areas and real-world experiences, and in encouraging students to explore their own interests and passions. By tapping into their natural curiosity and creativity, I hope to help students develop a sense of ownership over their own learning, and to inspire them to think critically and creatively about the world around them.

As an English teacher, I believe in the power of stories and language to connect us with others and to help us understand ourselves and the world. I strive to make reading and writing engaging and meaningful for my students, by choosing texts that are diverse, relevant, and thought-provoking, and by providing opportunities for students to express themselves through writing, speaking, and other forms of communication. As an English teacher, I believe that learning a new language should be enjoyable and fun, and that creativity and critical analysis are essential components of language acquisition. I strive to create a classroom environment that is both challenging and supportive, where students feel encouraged to take risks, make mistakes, and explore their own ideas and interests.

Ultimately, my goal as a teacher is to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically, but also to cultivate a lifelong love of learning, a sense of curiosity and wonder, and a commitment to using their education to make a positive difference in the world.

To foster creativity and critical analysis, I use a variety of teaching techniques and resources, such as games, puzzles, songs, stories, and multimedia materials. I encourage students to engage with the language in a variety of contexts, and to use their imaginations to create their own stories, poems, and other forms of written and spoken expression.

At the same time, I believe in the importance of building a strong foundation in the fundamentals of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. By providing clear and consistent feedback, and by scaffolding learning to meet each student's individual needs, I help students develop the skills and confidence they need to communicate effectively in English.

In addition to these technical skills, I also strive to help students develop a deeper understanding of the cultural contexts in which English is spoken. By exposing students to a range of texts and media from different countries and cultures, I hope to broaden their perspectives and inspire them to become more curious and empathetic global citizens.
